Well... this has proven a very unproductive year so far! :/
I must apologize for lack of content posted lately, both here on the blog, and on FF, and understand that I haven't been so busy that I haven't been writing at all, but things have been going pretty slowly with me right now, and I hate it so much! :( I very much hope to fix this problem soon.
Anyways, so I have a few questions for all of you reading that I would like your honest opinion about:
First off: Do you think I should try something new with my work? I sort of get the feeling that I might be coming off as something of a 'one-trick pony' as of late, and whether or not this is true, I'd like to know from any of you: What kind of new thing do you think I should do?
And seriously, be honest on this one. I don't care whether it's using a new pairing, or a different type of story, or different kinds of sexuality, if you think I should try it, just say it, and I might give it some serious thought.
Next question:
Do you have any ideas for Sex Ed Side Stories? Go ahead and shout 'em out! I'd be interested in hearing your ideas, and don't get your hopes up too much, but I just might use your idea (giving you credit, of course) if I like it enough!
Lastly:
If I were to make a new series not related to SE:AMS, Kushina's Wife Test, or any of my other fics, what anime do you think it should be based around, and what do you think the premise should be? I would be quite interested to hear your thoughts.
Haven't heard from you in a while I was beginning to wonder. I understand not getting much done. I'm having a similar problem with my fics. I understand what you're talking about, sadly at this moment I have no suggestions for you. I like your work as is, but do understand the concern about being a one-trick pony. I'm sure you've heard enough on my ideas for side stories. I don't know what series you're into and really most of my fics are Naruto related anyway. Maybe expand on the environment. Do a fic where the location switches up form time to time.

ReplyDeleteSooo, want a suggestion for trying something new? I certainly don't consider you one-track mind, I find your original SE story quite various and pleasurably filled with many different situations and scenes. Honestly, I think that you are very good in what you are writing right now, and a sudden and abrupt change of course might hurt your writing style. Perhaps easing a bit in a slightly different direction or adding a new idea might work better for you. I listed some of my ideas further down, so if you want to tickle your muse a bit, look there.
Hmmm, ideas for Sex Ed Side Stories... well, since I'm a big fan of bondage (consensual!), I'm always for a story where it plays anything from minor to major role. Like Hinata hoping to surprise Naruto, only to end bound helplessly on his bed with no way of releasing herself, or Anko "subduing" some rather unruly students in her class. Yuko or Naruko making some extra performance with bdsm toys in their club would also be a great sight! Or I remember one story from ff, it made slightly bad impression on me, but the idea was good - seduction for (not only) kunoichis. I don't know if Anko already taught her students that, but it could be fun to see her struggling with some hopeless cases (I wonder how would shy Hinata or painfully bold Sakura fare), or Naruto and Hinata on separate undercover missions, forced to seduce each other without knowing who the other one is... I hope I managed to spark your imagination a bit, even if you don't use anything of the mentioned above. :)
Hmmm, and last but not least, new anime world to explore... well, right now, I'm still a big fan of Fairy Tail, so if you like humorous adventure type of anime, mixed with some bonding and friendship thrown in, this one can be a good try. Perhaps with a funny twist - that their Magic doesn't fatigue mages as it usually does, but makes them aroused? It might be awkward on male mages, but quite hillarious on females, especially leading characters like Lucy and Erza. Or you could look into a thing that evolved from a morphed idea about pokemons - it's called pokegirls and I found it very interesting and full of potential for use in conjunction with any other anime, manga or other world. There is a slight summary here - http://tropes.wikia.com/wiki/PokeGirls - but I'm sure that you can find out more about them. I even got Pokedex with about 700 entries if you want to get some extra info about it. Pokegirls introduced into Naruto world could be nice story too.

Okay this idea come to me when I woke up early one morning. Costume night at the Cozy Condom. The stripers dress up in sexy outfits like doctors,priestesses, and other such thing and the customers all wear masks and things.

ReplyDeleteIdea ... Why not an alternate universe of SEAMS, like the X-mas one, where Hinata snaps and gives into lust, tying Naruto to his bed and having her wicked way with him. Of course, the next day, when she's back to normal, she blushes like hell, faints, apologize, faint, and end up dating Naruto.
Eh, sometimes when I look at my work and see a lot of recurring themes (Naruhina, bi/lesbian girls, teaching sexuality, just to name a few, it's hard for me not to get the lingering feeling that I might be a little bit of a one-trick pony.
DeleteAnd I enjoy the idea, but I'm not really sure about it; sure, I did do a bit of an AU with the X-mas chapter, but that was something I'd written LONG before Naruto and Hinata became a couple in SEAMS. Doing AU to my own story, particularly something like what you're suggesting feels a little.... weird.

ReplyDeleteYou should try exploring other things in sidestories that relate to sexuality, try doing something like watersports ive never read a fanfic about watersport sex lol, should try some bsdm or something maybe? explore with fetishes and such for sidestories if you want good idea's there maybe, love your work don't try and change your style yo.

ideas for Sex ed side stories? um... Anko takes Naruto and Hinata to Open strip night at the Cozy Condo, and have some of the Naruto woman we don't normally see like say Kurenai, Yuugo, Hinata's Mother, etc., perform.
