Cancellation of Anko Mitarashi LD, and new fic Announcement. By, The Digger

Hello again, my students of smut! So today, I've got some good news, and some bad news.

Let's start with bad news: Odds are, you've probably seen a new story put up on my FF called "Anko Mitarashi: LD." Well, I hate to say it, but it's been cancelled... for now, at least. Why, you ask? A few reasons, really:

1) I've gotten little to no useful feedback at all regarding this story, which was key to its continuation. I kindly asked my readers for helpful input on what they thought of the pilot/prototype chapter I had made, yet the majority of reviews I was given barely contained any helpful feedback at all; something that I find bothersome in more ways than one, and I'm not trying to say that I'm mad at any of you who read and reviewed, just... disappointed.

-First of all, as someone aspiring to be a professional writer (I'm NOT kidding about that), reader feedback is essential to me; I don't just need to know that I did a good job, but I also need to know how. So, while I'm somewhat pleased that at least 17 people were satisfied with what they read, I'm bothered by how little most of these people actually had to say, beyond simply liking it, or thinking that 'it was good.' My readers are important to me because their eyes and minds can see things that mine, as a writer, cannot, and if my writing is ever to improve, if I ever want any hope of being a professional, then I need my readers to lend me their minds, and have them convey to me what I did wrong, what I did right, and give me detailed information that can help me along my way.

-Second of all, I know that there are a lot of people who read my works, and who follow me, so they know when I make a new story, and if I can't get your feedback, then frankly, I don't know what to tell you! On top of helping me advance in my writings as reviews do, as aforementioned, they also give me motivation. No reviews, no motivation, no story.

2) Honestly, I don't really know how to begin with this story beyond the pilot :/ Yeah, I have tiny ideas for things to happen in chapters, but not really enough to make it a full-blown, successful series. And I can already hear all the fans demanding a NaruHina chapter, and YES, I was planning on making one! But you can't just start off big like that; you gotta work your way into it. And that's really the big reason this never made it past a pilot; no way to work up to the big stuff.

3) Little motivation. I mentioned this before, but it needs being reiterated; Motivation is pretty wholly the reason that anyone continues any series, and I just don't have it right now.

And this is all really a shame too, because I was looking to make this a written version of Sage Deo (If you don't know what that is, A) where have you been this whole time?! and B) Go check out MattWilson83's Deviant Art/Blogspot, you'll see what I was trying to go for). However, if it's of any consolation to those who were interested in seeing Anko LD continue, just keep this in mind; I may have given up on it for now, but that doesn't mean I have any interest in simply scrapping it permanently. More than likely, when I find the drive to write it again, and have the initiative to turn it into something really good, I'll come back to it. Til then, it's probably going to be taken down off my FF. But anyway, onto the good news!

Good news is, I'm in the stages of setting up a new continuation to Sex Education: Anko Mitarashi Style. No, no, no, it's not THE sequel, just A sequel.

It's really more of a spin-off than anything, following the fun little exploits of Nikia Zaraki and her squad (All of whom are lesbians, I might remind you! :D). Like Anko LD was intended to be, it'll be an episodic series, each one focusing on each member of Team 3, and will be worked on and updated more casually than the upcoming SEquel (Yes, we're calling it that from now on! =P), though will of course not skimp on any of the reasons you love these four girls ^^.

This story will be titled "Guide to the Kunoichi. By, Nikia." Each chapter will open and possibly end with a brief narration by the squad member of focus for that chapter, each one being a contribution to a book that Nikia and her squad are writing bit by bit on their experiences in the life of the lesbian Kunoichi.

Does this mean that none of the members of Team 3 will be in on Anko's Erojutsu classes in the actual SEquel? Well... sort of. I'm considering the possibility of having just Nodoka attend Anko's classes, though mostly just for the sake of cohesiveness; to connect Guide to the Kunoichi and the SEquel (Name still in progress, just like the rest of the story).

However, this brings me to the most essential issue that I'm currently having with Guide to the Kunoichi: I don't know where to begin. And that's where you, the readers, come in!

I have a story idea for each member of Squad 3, and each one could potentially be used to kick off the series, but I need your feedback to know which one you want to see first. And here are the contenders:

-The Village Festival, By Nikia

Nikia returns to the village outside of the Land of Fire where she grew up, and taking her squad with her, to attend an important yearly festival of their culture. There, the local girls take a real loving for the four Kunoichi, meaning all four are in for the night of their loves!

-Erotic Wrestling, By Tsuki

During her younger years, Nikia was a famed member of the world of Erotic Wrestling, and that toughy Tsuki wants in on the action! So, her sensei decides to let her in on the fun, giving Tsuki plenty of T&A, both to love, and to kick!

-Adult Cinema, By Emi

For the longest time before becoming a Genin, Emi had been looked down upon because of her orientation, so only now as Nikia's pupil has she been been opened up to the positives of female sexuality. However, the more she found herself enjoying the sexual arts, the more she finds herself wanting to contribute to them. And that's when she asks Nikia if she can help her become... a porn star??!

-Finding Courage, By Nodoka

Nodoka's performance in Team 3 has been shaky, to say the least. She's insecure, timid, and communicates little with her teammates, often shying away from any need for conversation. So, she does something a little bold that none of her squad members expected from finger-fidgeting Nodoka; take on learning Erojutsu! As much as she'd rather not, Nodoka willingly joined up with Anko Mitarashi's sex ed class, in hopes of becoming a little bit less modest and a bit more open about herself, both with others, and with her team.

-The Breast of Friends, By Team 3

After learning how... open their sensei was about sexuality, among other things, the girls of Team 3 couldn't help but indulge in copious amounts of sexual activities with each other. However, arguments and problems sprang up between them, and so Nikia saw fit to make a nightly schedule for her squad, so that everyone gets their satisfaction, and in hopes that she can make her girls learn to be the 'breast' of friends.

So! Now that all the potential story pilots are in play, it's now your job to vote for which one you would like to see kick off Team 3's adventures! Until then...

What to do about "Nudist?"

So.... I think it's an understatement to say that it's been a while since I've last updated "Nudist?", my first ever Lemon story, and... well, there's a good reason for that.

I'm sure most of you are aware that I've had other projects that I've been working on, particularly SE:AMS, which I personally consider my Magnum Opus, as many other people probably do as well. And trust me, just because you haven't heard from me for a while about that sequel doesn't mean it's not coming. It is, but there are things that hold me back from making it truly happen, and "Nudist?"'s fate is one of those things.

While I've had a lot of fun and heart put into the creation of this adopted series, looking back over it, I rather feel like it's... well, there's no nice way to say it... it's a damn a mess :/ So many conflicting elements, brought about between literary whims, changes of heart, changes of writing style, etc, etc, etc. And while I have many elements in mind for making this series' final chapter, I just can't get myself into the state of mind to give it life, as much as I really hate to say it.

So I want to know your thoughts! What should be done with "Nudist?"? Should it go the way of Legacy of the Legend, and discontinue it, letting it sit on the metaphorical shelves of my profile for sentimental remembrance?

Should I try to reclaim the clarity that brought me my previous inspiration?

Or should I hand the series over to someone who already has the inspiration to breath life back into the series again? (Hey, the last option sounds tempting! I did adopt this series from another author, after all. It might be fitting to pass it down the line to another aspiring writer *shrug*)

I'm honestly lost as to what to do about this series at this point :/ After all, it's been close to a year since last I've updated it, and I'm not much closer to making that final chapter than I was then. And to be perfectly blunt, I doubt that I could honestly surprise or impress anyone who reads "Nudist?", no matter what I do.

But there might be an alternative, and this is just something flying off the top of my head; reboot. As much as I hate starting series over, if I do, this might very well give a new life of sorts to the series.

I hate to see "Nudist?" go after all the adopted gem has done both for me and you, but if it really must, then I accept its fate. I don't want to keep pumping pointless life into a series that I either have no inspiration for, or can't give the kind of liveliness that made it popular to begin with. If new life should be breathed into it, that's not my decision to make; that's the decision of those who helped make the series what it is.

But anyway, those are the options that I see: Discontinuation, Hibernation Adoption, or Reimagination. Please, let your thoughts be known.

Please, let me know your thoughts on this matter! And if you have any other ideas, don't be afraid to shout them out! I'd be glad to hear them :)
